Ubiquiti Networks introduces the UniFi Security Gateway, which extends the UniFi Enterprise System to encompass routing and security for your network.
The UniFi Security Gateway combines reliable security features with high‑performance routing technology in a cost‑effective unit.

It is able to build up to 1 million packets per second and it's easily configurable via the UniFi Controller software.

• 1 million packets per second for 64-byte packets
• 3 Gbps total speed for 512-byte packets to or greater
• Managed with integrated software UniFi controller V4.x

Integration with UniFi Controller
Bundled at no extra charge, the UniFi Controller software conducts device discovery, provisioning, and management of the UniFi Security Gateway and other UniFi devices through a single, centralized interface.



Deployment
As part of the Enterprise System Unifi, the Security Gateway can be used in conjunction with the Access Point of the Unifi series.
The management as well as the recognition of the device is performed by the central UniFi Controller software, which resides in one location on site on the same Layer-2 network or out of network cloud or NOC.
