Car Camera Dual View with Accelerometer

It is a mobile device (generally positioned inside cars) with two integrated cameras and DVR capable of recording high resolution video (1280x480 total for both cameras), microphone, 3D accelerometer and built-in GPS.
The kit includes the suction cup support (preferably to be mounted on flat surfaces such as glass, polished metal, etc...), 12-24 V DC / 5 V DC power supply with plug for cigarette lighter socket.

The installation of the device is quick and easy and the positioning on the windshield does not affect the visibility thanks to the small size of the 2.7" LCD display which provides a live view from both cameras at the same time.
The buttons allow the user to execute the built-in functions and navigate the menu.

Thanks to its particular shape and high performance, the device is a versatile tool for both internal and external monitoring and video recording from motor vehicles.

Useful object to be used on all those vehicles which for various purposes require mobile video surveillance devices with GPS coding.
The ultra-low distortion fixed lenses ensure a wide viewing angle, 90 degrees for the front camera and 120 for the rear.
The camera can be tilted approximately 20°.
The high sensitivity CMOS sensor ensures clear images even in low light conditions.

Video recording can be done in two ways of power supply: by external power supply or thanks to the internal rechargeable battery.
In the first case, the DVR starts recording when the device is connected to an external power source (it can also be activated only after the engine is started), and stops immediately after the power is turned off.
Using the built-in battery, the user can turn on and off at any time, the recording which starts automatically after power on, however the user can manually stop and resume the recording without turning off the device.
For user convenience and battery saving, the display can be set to turn off after 30 seconds.

Video is recorded at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 480 pixels for both channels, or 640 x 480 pixels for one channel at 30 fps.
The video quality is sufficient for analyzing road accidents, people's behavior and also for recognizing people's faces or license plate numbers (obviously everything depends on the distance of objects from the camera).
The kit includes a GPS antenna which, when connected to the device, activates its GPS module by sending information on the vehicle's speed and geographical position to the memory card.
In the background the system also records data from the 3D accelerometer (X, Y and Z axes).

Video and data are recorded on the micro SDHC card (micro TF, supported capacity from 4 to 32 GB).
The card is automatically formatted by the device after insertion.
The recordings combine GPS and accelerometer data in a proprietary format. After inserting the card into a special reader, using the software included in the package, it is possible to play the recorded video files, protect them from overwriting, read the speed values, GPS position on Google Maps (obviously with a PC connected to the internet), also displaying graphs illustrating acceleration for each axis separately.
It is also possible to create images from the video. Recordings can be converted to AVI (MJPG) format, which can be viewed by any media player.

The DVR automatically protects the recorded material from being overwritten in the event of an accelerometer-detected impact, which usually occurs following a road collision.
The data can be manually unlocked by the user who can also block access to recordings on the memory card by setting a password.
This feature is available in the JPlayer application.

A 4 GB memory card can store approximately 65 minutes of recordings with two cameras running simultaneously, 140 minutes with only one.
In addition to video, the camera can also record audio thanks to the built-in microphone.
All recordings can also be played back from the built-in LCD monitor.
Among the options it is possible to activate or deactivate the key sound, backlight, flicker reduction 50/60 Hz, accelerometer sensitivity, etc.
The video contains date and time.

The camera can only record video and audio with its internal components, so no external devices can be connected.



Clear images even in bad road conditions and light inside the cabin.



The dedicated video player displays speed values, GPS location on Google map and accelerometer data.
