The GPeR unit allows you to extend the Ethernet cable up to 1500m (<100 - 150m to normal network devices and up to 210m to another GPeR unit).
Convenient for high-rise and multi-story apartment buildings where very long Ethernet cables may be a problem.
The maximum allowed CAT6 Ethernet cable length between GPeR and power source / router is up to 100m depending on the quality of the cable, for high quality cables up to 150m.
The maximum allowable distance of CAT6 Ethernet cable between two GPeR devices is up to 210m (depending on the quality of the cable).
In case the target device does not support PoE-in, PoE Passthrough can be disabled by manually removing all jumpers.
