Since 2009 the reference point for Wi-Fi in Italy
Soppressor for PoE lines
It is designed for surge protection of devices connected to the ethernet 10 / 100Mbps using the 2 UTP / FTP cable pairs for powering PoE devices.
It has two separate protection circuits, namely one for the data transmission lines (1-2, 3-6) and one for power (4-5, 7-8).
The two circuits are protected by elements that downloading any overloaded to the ground.
In order to increase the maximum load of the PoE circuit, the cable 4 is connected in parallel with the 5 and 7 cable with the cable 8.
N.B. the protector works by connecting the yellow / green wire to the ground or to a protective conductor.
